These are just some of the final result
To begin our work, download the resource pack next then open a new document 2300x1500 pixels resolution 300dpicolor RVB8bits.
Download the following image Ref: # 26072913 and import it into your document

Open a new document 500x500 pixels with a transparent background, take the pen tool (P) mode shape layer and draw the following form

Turn the shape that you drew in Brushes by going to Menu> Edit> Define Brush Preset.

Go back to your main working document, create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N), take the brush tool (B) with the form and press F5 on your keyboard to make some changes in the brushe

Then draw with the form created like this

Create another layer, take the brush tool (B) again, with a round shape and hardness of 0% paint on the side to hide

Now take the clone stamp tool (S) are sampling the face of our model and duplicate the sampled form of the dark side of the face of course using the brushes you have created.

Remade the same thing by varying the size and shape by duplicating layers

Now remade the same thing in two or three different layer but using larger shapes

Then go to blending options to apply a drop shadow on the three layers

Boost your creation by adding more details like this

Next import the texture into your document

Change its blending mode to Soft Light and erase some of the ends of the shape using a round shape and hardness of 0%.

Create a new layer, take the brush tool (B), colors 955f3d #, # bb896c and paint at areas outside texture.

Change its blending mode to soft light

Duplicate few bursts above and apply a Gaussian Blur by going to Menu> Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur

Add an adjustment layer Black and White by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Black & White and reduce its opacity to 43%.

Add an adjustment layer gradient transfer curve by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Gradient transfer curve, change its blending mode in product and reduce its opacity to 58%.

Change its blending mode to soft light and reduce its opacity to 53%.

Create a new layer, take the brush tool (B) with a small form of cracks and draw like this, using a graphic tablet will be welcome.

Add an Adjustment Layer Color Balance by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance and adjust Midtones like this.
